In refigeration applications,much of the brazing involves joining copper tubing. However, ther are numerous applications where other materials need to be joined (steel,brass,stainless,etc.).
These high silver brazing alloys facilitate the joining of these metals. the one alloy in particular which is highly recommended for virtually all above mentioned base metals is Braze 505.
Braze 405 is a general purpose filler metal for joining ferrous,non-ferrous and disimilar metals with large joint characteristics. Cadmiun-free.
Braze 560 is the lowest temperature,Cadmium-free filler metal available.

Oatey heavy duty cement is recommended for use on pvc pipe and fittings up to 12" in diameter for
schedule 40 and schedule 80 potable water pressure pipe,gas,conduit,drain waste and vent pipe.
Oatey regular cement is recommended for use on PVC pipe and fitiings up to 4" for DWV or scedule 40 and up to 2" for schedule 80 potable water pressure pipe,gas,conduit,drain waste and vent pipe.
Oatey Rain Shine is a blue colored cement recommended for PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" in diameter. A very fast setting cement formulated for wet conditions and/or when quick pressurization and fast installation
is needed. For schedule 40 and schedule 80 potable water pressure pipe,irrigation,gas,conduit,drain waste and vent pipe.
